This focus group aims to examine the similarities and differences of the Lowell and Noble wind farms in Vermont and New York.

We will investigate the environmental and wildlife impacts on the land, as well as the impacts on the community.

We will determine the estimated potential energy of the wind farm at Lowell and the average energy output from the Noble wind farm and the impacts these have on the community and green energy future of VT.

We plan to interview the local communities to gain their perspectives and reactions to the benefits and downfalls of the project.

We will also attempt to explain why the process has been slowed down so drastically over the past few months and what the plans are for future construction as well as future job creation. A comparison will be done of the struggles each wind farm has had in getting permits and gaining support.
